September 2025 - Our Month in Review
A relatively quiet August for most district Councillors with no committee meetings, apart from Cabinet meetings with members of Blaby District Council management and Executive. However, for Cllr Ben Taylor the work has been full on, continuing with his leadership duties. For Cllr Mike Shirley it was an opportunity to undergo planned spinal surgery to relieve an ongoing problem of blackouts. You may have heard that Mike fainted during Sapcote Parish Council meeting at the beginning of July, cutting his head open and spending nine hours in A&E at LRFI. Sorry Sapcote for totally ruining your meeting. Mike is now slowly recovering but still attending meetings when necessary.
