North Whetstone
Susan Findlay has lived in Whetstone for the last ten years with her partner and they have made the village their home. Since living in Whetstone Sue has worked as a Funeral Administrator for a leading funeral company and has supported many families during their most difficult times. Sue is a mother to two grown-up children, three grandchildren and a great grandchild. During her spare time she enjoys spending it with her family, friends and the family dog.
“As your District Councillor I will bring compassion and understanding to the role, skills that I have developed during my time helping many who have lost loved ones during my time as a Funeral Administrator”.
Sue believes that whilst Whetstone has taken its fair share of housing development over the years, it is important that any future development is appropriate and has the support of local residents and also brings improvements to the local infrastructure that would be impacted by any future developments. Sue believes that more needs to be done in supporting those with Mental Health issues and if elected, will champion this, to ensure that those suffering from mental health issues are given more support.
