SLCA Mastermind 2023

The ever-popular SLCA Mastermind event celebrated its 10th anniversary on the 3rd November this year with a great competition amongst our contestants.

Victoria Stapleton returned as defending champion and once again won the event for the second year running.
She was closely chased by her fellow contestants, Jacob Coad from Alberto Costa’s Parliament office team, the smart Johnson Lyon from SLCA and local businesswoman Rachel Johnson.
The topics ranged from Peppa Pig to Formula 1 racing, the life and times of Richard Nixon and the books of the Revd Richard Coles.
A great time was had by all. The supper was superb, and we raised a decent amount of money for Association funds.

Many thanks to the Broughton Astley team who organised and ran the event – Neil Bannister, Ruth Morrison, Rich Tomlin and Vicky Thornton with extra thanks to Kathryn Bannister and Eva Tomlin for their help on the night.
