Alberto Costa Re-Elected as Conservative MP for South Leicestershire

Congratulations to Alberto Costa who has been re-elected as MP for South Leicestershire.  Full results below.

In what was a very difficult night for Conservatives nationally, in Leicestershire Conservatives managed to hold on to all but two seats and gained a seat in Leicester for the first time in 36 years.

The results of the 2024 General Election in South Leicestershire:

• Alberto Costa, Conservative Party – 18,264
• Robert Parkinson, Labour – 12,758
• Bill Piper, Reform UK – 10,235
• Paul Hartshorn, Liberal Democrats – 7,621
• Mike Jelfs, Green Party – 2,481
